Probate Valuation
Probate Valuation for London, Surrey and South East
The loss of a family member is always a difficult experience, and on top of the emotional weight, there’s often the practical task of dealing with their estate. Part of the probate process requires valuing everything they owned — from household possessions to property — so that any inheritance tax or outstanding debts can be fairly settled.
Without a proper valuation, valuable items can easily be overlooked, which may affect how the estate is handled. That’s why at Fast Clearance, we provide detailed and accurate probate valuations. Our team works with care and discretion, ensuring you have a clear understanding of the worth of a property’s contents at what is often a sensitive time.

Probate Valuation Process
Household contents such as porcelain, furniture, artwork and other collectibles can often hold significant value, but items are frequently overlooked or underestimated. Our team can visit the property, carefully catalogue all possessions (chattels), and provide accurate valuations. Chattels include everything within the property apart from the building itself.
Using a professional valuation service before selling any items can make a big difference. By knowing their true worth, you may achieve higher sale prices and even avoid parting with family heirlooms that might otherwise have been sold without proper assessment.
In many cases, it isn’t essential to hire a solicitor to submit an application to the Probate Registry. Our experienced team can ease much of the burden by handling the valuation paperwork and inventory quickly and efficiently.
We specialise in probate valuations for all types of household contents, including fine art, antiques, jewellery, collectibles, vehicles, and general furnishings. With over 15 years of experience and countless satisfied clients, we offer reliable, competitively priced services you can trust.
Once the valuation has been completed, you will receive a detailed probate valuation report within just two working days.
